Document generation & artifacts
Open Org AI can generate professional documents directly from your conversations. These are called Artifacts. They live in your workspace and can be downloaded, versioned, and edited. Read more in Document Generation.
Document types:
- Word (.docx) - policies, frameworks, guides, reports, communication templates
- Excel (.xlsx) - survey analysis, competency matrices, roadmap planners, data tables
- PowerPoint (.pptx) - board presentations, team updates, strategy decks
- Markdown - notes, documentation, and content for tools like Notion
How it works: When the AI generates a document, it appears as an artifact in your conversation. You can: - Preview the document in-app before downloading - Download it in the format you need - Save As to create a new version - Edit with the AI by asking for changes, and it will update the document - View version history to see how the document evolved
Tip: Be specific about what you want, e.g.
Create a Word doc with our feedback framework including a rating rubric. Ask for revisions like Add a section on manager calibration or Make the tone more casual. The Roadmap Builder, Competency Framework Builder, and other skills can all output professional documents.Need more help?
